Best PracticeWhat is commonly termed 'Best Practice' is a great example of some particular activity or process. Managing for best practice means avid seeking out of people who are doing things well, and then capturing their 'secrets' so you can do something similar. Unsurprisingly, this is very similar to Benchmarking, and is sometimes also called 'Best Practice Benchmarking'. There is a view that 'best' is an absolute position and discourages further improvement. In such cases, the same principle is often called 'Good Practice'. See also:
