Centering

The centering (also called accuracy or central tendency) of a set of measurements (usually from the output of a given process), is the degree to which measurements gather around a target value.

Centering may be measured with the Mean (or average), the Mean or the Mode of the set of data.

The set of measures may also be measured in terms of their spread.
